Holistic Dental Office Manager Position
Join our team in leading a holistic dentistry practice focused on comprehensive patient health. We are a Fee-For-Service, Out-of-Network clinic with annual collections of $1.7M, seeking an experienced manager for our 10-member team.
Role Overview:
- Operational Leadership: Manage daily activities, ensuring adherence to dental and holistic health regulations. Maintain positive relationships with patients and staff, and oversee marketing initiatives.
- Staff Management: Handle staff assignments, scheduling, and professional development. Conduct recruitment, performance evaluations, and training, especially in OSHA and HIPAA compliance.
- Patient Management: Oversee patient service, handle complaints, and support staff in scheduling and financial transactions.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with dental regulations, manage patient records, and oversee staff training in state and federal regulations.
- Marketing and Community Outreach: Manage promotional activities, oversee social media presence, and engage in community programs.
- Technology and Records: Supervise office computer systems and patient account management.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of management experience in a healthcare setting, dental preferred.
- Deep understanding of dental insurance, billing practices, and a proven track record in efficiently managing financial accounts.
- Experience with Open Dental software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of holistic dental practices and a commitment to integrating these principles into daily operations.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Experience in conflict resolution and team management.
- High school diploma required; further education or dental experience beneficial.
