Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to various locations. This is a vital role in our organization, as you will be the face of our company and ensure timely deliveries to our valued customers. Responsibilities: - Safely operate a variety of vehicles including box trucks, vans, and tractor-trailers - Load and unload goods from the vehicle - Plan routes and follow delivery schedules - Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries - Maintain accurate records of deliveries and customer interactions - Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations - Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance - Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient loading and unloading of goods Skills: - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role - Excellent knowledge of local traffic laws and routes - Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles - Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor - Familiarity with using GPS devices for navigation - Basic math skills for inventory tracking purposes - Physical stamina to lift and move heavy items as needed Note: Experience with forklift operation, courier services, or commercial driving is a plus.
