Responsibilities and Requirements of the Hygiene Assistant:
- Prepare treatment rooms and assist in setting up patients for dental procedures.
- Provide chairside assistance to the dental hygienist during treatments.
- Take digital x-rays under supervision, following proper protective measures.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Provide guidance for preventive care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Clean, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
- Assist appointment scheduling, record management, and billing.
Hours for the Hygiene Assistant: 40 Hours Per Week
- Monday: 7:00AM-3:00PM or 10:00AM-6:00PM
- Tuesday & Thursday: 7:00AM-3:00PM or 10:00AM-7:00PM
- Wednesday: 7:00AM-5:00PM
- Friday: 7:00AM-4:00PM
- Saturday 8:00AM-2:00PM (2 times a month/1 time a month during the Summer)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
