Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Manager to join our team. As the Front Desk Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front desk area, ensuring efficient patient flow, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a dental or medical office setting and possess strong administrative skills.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the front desk area and ensure smooth operations
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule appointments and maintain the office calendar
- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries
- Verify insurance information and collect payments
- Maintain patient records and update medical history as necessary
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care
- Train and supervise front desk staff
- Handle any patient complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a dental or medical office setting is required
- Proficiency in dental software such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic is preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical scheduling systems and administrative procedures
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
