Fast paced dental office looking for a Front Office Administrator/Manager who will make the dentist’s office more efficient and pleasant for patients. Must have strong Front Office/administrative skills. Must be able to manage employees along with various managerial tasks. Applicant should be well-organized with great attention to detail. You should be able to follow instructions, follow systems and respect dental office regulations and policies. Must be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and able to make office procedures and administration as smooth as possible. $- Pay is based on experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Welcome patients to the dental office in a friendly, upbeat manner
- Must be able to multitask and have great attention to detail
- Prepare patient accounts & charts for upcoming appointments
- Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize, and keep track of details in a busy, fast paced environment
- Answer phones in a polite, courteous manner
- Schedule patient appointments efficiently while maintaining a full schedule
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures
- Insurance Coordination
- Treatment planning and presentation
- Follow up and manage tasks efficiently
- Maintain and follow policies and procedures
- Manage/monitor employees and maintain systems and procedures already in place
Skills
- Excellent customer service, communication and people skills
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and other Microsoft products
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Strong computer skills with the ability to learn other software applications quickly

- Additional certification or training is an asset
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $32.00 per hour
