Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary payments
- Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient scheduling
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Handle any patient complaints or concerns with empathy and professionalism
- Manage office supplies and inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels at all times
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting is preferred
- Experience with Eaglesoft Dental Software preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is a plus
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
