As the Hygiene Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front desk area and ensuring exceptional customer service. Responsibilities:
- Manage the front desk area and ensure smooth operations
- Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule appointments and maintain accurate patient records
- Coordinate with staff to ensure efficient patient flow
- Utilize Dentrix scheduling software
- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries or concerns
- Process patient payments and insurance claims
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
- Proficiency in using dental office software systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
