Responsibilities:
- Act as a point of contact for patients seeking dental treatment and consultations.
- Welcome and greet patients in a friendly and professional manner, creating a positive first impression.
- Conduct comprehensive consultations with patients, discussing their dental concerns, treatment options, and associated costs.
- Collaborate with the dental team to develop personalized treatment plans based on patients' needs and financial considerations.
- Present treatment plans to patients, ensuring they understand the recommended procedures, associated benefits, and potential risks.
- Address patients' questions, concerns, and objections, providing clear and concise explanations to promote trust and confidence in the treatment plan.
- Coordinate and schedule appointments for patients, maximizing the efficiency of the dental practice while accommodating patients' preferences and availability.
- Manage patients' insurance claims and financial arrangements, verifying coverage, explaining payment options, and facilitating the necessary paperwork.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting treatment plans, progress, and other relevant information in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Foster strong relationships with patients, cultivating loyalty and trust to encourage ongoing oral health care.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in dental administration is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Dental Treatment Coordinator or similar role within a dental practice.
- In-depth knowledge of dental terminology, treatment procedures, and insurance practices.
- Proficient in using dental practice management software and scheduling systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and address their concerns effectively.
- Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Empathetic and compassionate nature, with a genuine desire to provide excellent patient care.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
