JOB SUMMARY:
The receptionist / treatment coordinator ensures the doctor has an ideal schedule and has a great demeanor
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Keeping the doctor/hygienist booked with ideal schedule
Tracking patients and maintaining delayed treatment slips
Making confirmation calls to patient
Keeping and using priority call list
Getting patients scheduled for their needed treatment
Greeting patients as they enter the door
Answering the phone in a positive , efficient and friendly manner
Managing the answer machine and ensuring proper outgoing messages
Practice promotion through positive interactions with other dental office teams
Making initial appointments with patients either over the phone or in person
Receiving payments
Scheduling post op visits
Ensuring coordinated patient care of all patients
Administrative duties such as answering the phone, seating patients etc
