We are seeking a skilled Treatment Coordinator to join our team. As a Treatment Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. Your primary responsibility will be to provide administrative support and assist with patient treatment coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments
- Greet and check-in patients upon arrival
- Collect and update patient information, including medical history and insurance details
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
- Assist with billing and insurance claims processing
- Maintain accurate and organized patient records
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure efficient patient flow
- Educate patients on treatment plans and financial options
Skills
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Experience working in a dental office setting, knowledge with Open Dental is a plus
- Proficiency in medical administrative support tasks
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle challenging situations
