SalaryResponsibilities:
- Welcome patients, present treatment plans and collect co-pays. Learn Sedation Dentistry to present options to patients for their dental work - Answer phone calls, appoint patients and make out bound calls/texts to schedule patients
- Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
- Verify patient insurance information, call insurance companies to follow up on claims
- Assist with medical record management, including filing, organizing and writing in charts
- Answer patient's questions regarding their treatment, insurance and appointments
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Front Desk assistant in a dental office - Applicants must have previous dental office experience
- Extensive Knowledge of dental terminology and dental insurance limitations
- Excellent communication, customer service skills and comfortable presenting large treatment plans
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Experience with Dentrix software is a plus
