SalaryKids First Pediatric Dentistry is an established private practice located in both Elgin, IL & Schaumburg, IL. We are looking for outgoing and responsible individuals to join our team for the long term! Must be organized, reliable and willing to learn/work. Without experience, you will start out in sterilization and work your way up to dental assistant, then to assisting chairside with the Doctors. Hours are Monday through Thursday 7:45AM - 5PM, Friday and Saturday 7:45AM - 2PM.
***Compensation negotiable based on experience***
Responsibilities:
- Perform limited routine dental cleanings and assist the dentist with complex dental procedures
- Sterilize instruments according to regulations
- Take x-rays
- Update and maintain client's dental records
- Advise patients on recommended oral hygiene
- Provide post operative care instructions to parents
- Set up/break down/stock operative rooms
- Work up to assisting the Doctors chairside during operatives
- Constant communication with Doctors and staff
- Must be able to work at either location (Elgin or Schaumburg)
Skills:
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Bilingual preferred, but not required (Spanish & Polish)
- Excellent communication skills is a must
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
Experience is desired but not required, we are willing to train the right candidate, which includes studying the material provided to you so you may be able to preform at an expected level. We provide care to not only children, but their families and want to give them the best experience possible.

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
