Dental Assistant/Administrative Assistant

Wright Street Dental is seeking applications for a full time dental assistant to work with our team in Marquette, MI!

As a dental assistant with our office, you will be providing direct and indirect patient care. The ideal candidate for this position has experience working with individuals of all ages and is an energetic & positive person.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Patients are our number one priority and we always want to do what is best for them
• Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room
• Maintain patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
• Perform patient charting as instructed by dentist
• Prepare treatment room for dentist and hygienist with necessary instruments and supplies
• Ensures operation of dental equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements.
• Clean and sterilize instruments
• Take patient x-rays
• Contribute to the team in achieving business objectives to accomplish goals
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and team
• Assist the front desk in daily tasks, such as maintaining the schedule, checking patients in and out, ensuring proper paperwork is completed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Current CPR certification preferred
• Experience with Dentrix or other DPMS software preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
