Dental Assistant, Registered Or Certified

C.A.R.E. Dentistry is in search of a Dental Assistant! The ideal candidate is a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Certified Dental Assistant (CDA); however, we are willing to consider someone working towards that goal or with dental assisting experience. We provide general dental services ranging from routine preventative care to orthodontics. We see LOTS of kids! We pride ourselves in making every visit as pleasant and pain-free as possible. We're a very busy and fast-paced practice with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

Our typical work week is Monday thru Thursday, we're closed on Fridays, weekends and all major holidays. We see patients on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. We ask that the assistants are here and ready to work before 7:45 a.m. While we rarely run over at the end of the day, you may be here after 6:00 p.m. on occasion. Dr Hearn isn't in the office on Wednesdays, but the assistants generally work from 8:00 to 1:00.

We offer a competitive wage ranging from $15 to $25 depending upon certifications and experience. We offer paid training, uniform allowance, continuing education, life insurance, dental care, paid holidays, paid vacation and sick time, 401(k).

Responsibilities

Our Dental Assistants are responsible for making our patients feel welcome and at ease. Seating patients and reviewing medical history. Chairside assisting Dr Hearn during procedures. Accurately recording treatment planned and provided into the patients chart. Setting up, breaking down, and sterilizing treatment ops and equipment. Taking impressions with a digital scanner. Making temporary crowns. Tracking dental lab cases. Etc.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate works well as part of a team, has a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. We prefer an RDA or a CDA. Experience with Biolase laser, 3D scanner and EagleSoft is a plus!

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
