Dental Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist and providing quality dental care to our patients. ```Responsibilities```

- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and procedures
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Perform dental charting and record medical documentation
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Provide support to the front office as needed

```Qualifications```

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program
- X-Ray certification
- Proficiency in denal terminology and documentation
- Knowledge of sterilization and infection control protocols
- Experience with Dentrix or similar dental software is preferred
- Familiarity with dental coding and billing processes is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.25 - $19.18 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 33 per week
