```Duties:```
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process customer transactions accurately
- Prepare and serve deli items such as sandwiches, salads, and hot food items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, including food preparation surfaces, equipment, and utensils
- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper handling and storage of perishable items
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and restocking shelves as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the deli department

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with customers
- Basic math skills for cash handling and calculating order totals
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of retail math for pricing and weighing products accurately
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and safety guidelines in the restaurant or food industry
Note: Previous experience in a deli or food service setting is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate the necessary skills and willingness to learn.
