SalarySmithLife Homecare is actively looking for compassionate and dedicated DC Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide hospital-based companion care in Washington, DC. If you are hard-working, passionate, and upbeat, we currently have an ongoing schedule available from Friday to Sunday, 8 am to 8 pm.
Responsibilities:
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients during their hospital stay.
- Engage in purposeful interactions, facilitate wellness activities, and encourage community involvement, such as daily walks around the hospital premises.
- Administer medication reminders to ensure timely and proper dosage.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance the overall well-being of patients.
Qualifications:
- Valid and current DC CNA Certification.
- Valid and current CPR Certifications.
- Completed Covid-vaccine (both doses).
- At least 1 year of professional caregiver experience preferred.
- Recent Tuberculosis screening.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
Compensation:
- Earn $19.00 - $20.00 per hour with the possibility of overtime at time and a half pay.
