We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure. You will work closely with our data scientists and analysts to ensure the accuracy and availability of data for analysis and reporting purposes. Duties:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure
- Building scalable and efficient data pipelines
- Implementing data models and schemas
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand business needs
- Ensuring data quality and integrity
- Performing data cleansing, transformation, and aggregation
- Troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues
- Optimizing database performance
- Conducting vulnerability assessments and implementing security measures
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of database systems, SQL, and ETL processes
- Familiarity with network management and Cisco routers
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMWare
- Proficiency in operating systems (e.g., Linux, Windows)
- Understanding of network infrastructure and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS)
- Knowledge of LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol)
- Familiarity with vulnerability assessment tools and practices
