Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Daycare Teacher to join our team. As a Daycare Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. Your responsibilities will include assisting with implementing age-appropriate curriculum, ensuring the well-being of each child, and fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Responsibilities:

- Assist with implement engaging lesson plans and activities that promote the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development of children

- Provide a safe and secure environment for children by closely monitoring their activities and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the classroom

- Create a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages respect, kindness, and cooperation among children

- Collaborate with parents to ensure open communication regarding their child's progress, needs, and any concerns that may arise

- Assisting with observing and assessing each child's development, documenting their progress and addressing any developmental delays or concerns

- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and other important information related to the children in your care

Skills:

- Previous experience working with infants to preschool-aged children in a daycare or educational setting

- Strong caregiving skills with the ability to provide individualized attention to each child's needs

- Knowledge of early childhood education principles, practices, and developmentally appropriate teaching strategies

- Excellent classroom management skills to create a structured yet nurturing environment for children

- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities

- Familiarity with special education techniques is a plus

- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and fellow staff members

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 42 per week
