Job Title: Data Visualization Specialist
Reports To: Data & Analytics Manager
Position Overview: As a Data Visualization Specialist, you'll create data and business intelligence visualizations, dashboards, and reports for Goldfish Swim Schools' franchisees and the franchise office. You'll work collaboratively with the Data & Analytics manager on overseeing the backlog of incoming requests, gathering business requirements, and creating data products, metrics, KPIs, and dashboards.
Goldfish Swim Schools: Goldfish Swim School Franchising is one of the leading learn-to-swim franchise organizations with swim schools facilities for kids ages 4 months to 12 years. Our proven confidence-building curriculum promotes a love of swimming and teaches children to be safer in and around the water.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop dashboards and reports for business users and franchise owners.
• Understand business value and fulfill the need for data-driven decision making in the business.
• Lead data exploration efforts and create narratives for data storytelling.
• Oversee Data Visualization portfolio and maintain/progress through data product backlog.
• Troubleshoot dashboard, report, and data pipeline issues with the Data & Analytics team.
• Be an active participant in the Technology team and Data & Analytics team meetings and activities.
• Additional duties may be assigned

Job Qualifications and Skills

• 1-3 years of experience in Data Visualization, dashboard building, and report creation
• 1-3 years of experience connecting with business end-users and prioritizing their needs
• 1-3 years of experience in data storytelling.
• Open to entry-level candidates with the correct skills and qualifications
• Technical proficiency in visualization tools like Google Looker, Qlik, PowerBi, or Tableau.
• Preferred Bachelor's degree in Informatics, Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related field or relevant experience.
• Understanding of data models and data pipelines
• Outstanding communication skills, attention to detail, and self-organization skills.
• Ability to work well in a highly collaborative team environment
