Data Support And Health Informatics Specialist

MCBS is looking for a Data Support and Health Informatics Specialist to join our team! The Specialist will be responsible for maintaining all daily production and verification of production processing. They will test and evaluate network systems; verifying transmissions from hospitals for completeness and accuracy of data.

The chosen candidate will become a subject matter expert in our business applications and will train colleagues on new functionality and processes as well as provide technical support in these areas.

In this role you will:

• Monitor databases, provide reports and analysis
• Design and use informatics solutions and technology to support all areas of medical billing
• Establish and maintain effective administrative systems and workflows
• Provide technical assistance
• Develop and deliver on-going user education materials

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year in a health care environment
• Experience with Electronic Health records and EMR systems (Imagine experience a plus)
• Experience with Health Information technology and applications
• Strong documentation skills
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve
• Medical Billing experience a plus

Education Requirement:

High School or GED Required

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Applied Informatics, Health Information Administration, MIS, Computer Science or similar (Preferred).

Individuals with a Clinical background will be considered.
