Job Summary:

JOB DESCRIPTION – Data Steward / Salesforce Data Assistant

Location: United States, flexible, remote

Division: Ticketmaster North America, Client Support & Operations – Strategic Initiatives

Contract Terms: Part-time, up to 29-hours per week

THE TEAM

The Strategic Initiatives team provides centralized business essential services for the Client Support & Operations organization in Ticketmaster. These core functions include all things Salesforce globally. Salesforce enhancements management, ownership of reporting and dashboards, various high-level analysis and implementation of strategic projects tied to OKR’s and key team functionally.

THE JOB

The Salesforce Operations Assistant works within Ticketmaster Client Support & Operations organization, focusing on Salesforce data and global project initiatives. Overall, the goal is to help this organization with tasks standardizing data and improving processes with nearly all their work in Salesforce, which will allow better reporting and data driven decisions.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Work with the Client Support & Operations leaders to help manage our global Salesforce CRM instance
  • Analyze and improve data quality by running reports and identifying data that requires clean up or updates
  • Clean up Salesforce data and come up with processes to help establish best practices to maintain our Salesforce data. Below is a sample of type of clean up required:
    • Update PE (Product Enablement) records – ensure that this is on both parent account and venue account
    • Account records, de-duping accounts and ensuring that Account records have key information such as all contact details and account owners
    • Update Asset records (e.g. type of hardware a venue client has installed)
    • Cases – reviewing and closing old cases
    • Reports / dashboards clean up and add new filters
    • Streamline Fields and naming conventions
    • Update empty fields (e.g. country)
    • Sync client product database with Salesforce Account records
  • Partner with our Salesforce Support & Operations lead; focusing on tool optimization, implementation of new features, testing and writing requirements for new features, and managing reports/dashboards

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)

  • Previous experience with CRM software, preferably Salesforce
  • Bachelor’s Degree recommended
  • Data management, understand data processes and looking at large and different data structures
  • Experience working with databases and the general understanding of how data structure works
  • Previous Ticketmaster experience a plus, especially time working in the client support organization, thus having a firm understanding of the people, products and projects
  • Extreme attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Critical thinking and problem solving through data and analysis
  • Advanced Excel skills (such as VLookups and pivot tables)

The expected compensation for this position in Washington is:

$40.00 USD - $50.00 Hourly
