As a Data Steward you will formulate and define data quality metrics and requirements. You will coordinate the organization’s quality and maintenance of data by defining data elements as well as establishes policies and procedures related to the collection and accuracy of data and performance of tests on data systems. You will partner on data remediation efforts when data issues arise. Interacts with data maintainers across the organization to ensure business needs around data are appropriately met.

What You Will Do:

Operational Oversight:

• Assists in solving practical problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and dealing with abstract and concrete variables.
• Translates business requirements into functional and non-functional specifications that can be understood by upstream and downstream stakeholders.
• Acquires skills to implement policies and procedures for day-to-day operational and administrative management of systems and their data.

Data Quality:

• Maintains and communicates data quality metrics and requirements.
• Engages cross-functionally in the ongoing and detailed evaluation of data quality, the identification of anomalies and discrepancies, and the contribution of expertise to understand the root cause.
• Supports efforts to implement corrective measures on data quality issues that arise.
• Works collaboratively to establishes and maintain data-quality metrics, dashboards, and requirements including defining the values, ranges, and parameters that are acceptable for each data element.
• Subject Matter Expertise:
• Understands SQL programming language to allow for systematic programming of business requirements into Information Steward.
• Relationship and Communication:
• Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.
• Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental, and safety regulatory considerations.

What You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s Degree OR High School diploma or state-issued equivalency certificate plus 4 years business systems analysis experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility including document retention 
• Skilled in the use of MS Word and MS Excel at an intermediate level.
• Ability to solve practical problems, collecting data, establishing facts and dealing with a variety of concrete variables.
•  Good communication and business writing skills.
• Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
•  Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

What Will Set You Apart:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Math, Engineering or Business Administration plus 1 years of business systems analysis experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility OR High School diploma or state-issued equivalency certificate plus 6 years business systems analysis experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility including document retention
• Working knowledge of SQL queries language.
• Experience with Visio, MS Project, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, and SharePoint.
• Working knowledge of relational database design.
• Experience with SAP BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation) or SAP AO (Analysis for Office).
• Experience with SAP ERP.
• Experience with MicroStrategy, BI, or other reporting tools.
• Experience working in multiple functional areas such as Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, H.R., Sourcing, Order to Cash, Co-Manufacturing, or Winemaking.
• Experience responding to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.

Compensation:

• Hiring Salary Range Posted: $31.44 - $47.12/ hourly
• Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
