Position Summary
Join our Class of 2024 Yes Energy Interns and enjoy the opportunity to work on exciting projects to shape your career in Energy Market Data. The intern position will perform technical tasks to maintain Data Quality through monitoring, technology-driven processes (Oracle, Snowflake, REST APIs), and statistical analysis for data completeness, correctness, and freshness.
Intern will learn and be exposed to
- Hands-on experience writing SQL & beginner PL/SQL
- Data aggregation and materialization of time series data
- Creating and maintaining processes and dashboards to ensure the quality of our data
Acquire knowledge of Agile project management methodologies
- Analyze and define data trends and metrics for real time data pipelines
- Research and create alerting mechanisms for data abnormalities
- Creating analytical dashboards to create more visibility on trends of our data
- Automating current manual tasks
Key Responsibilities
- Create and monitor alerts to maintain the quality of our data pipeline
- Categorization and attribution of energy market data
- Attend daily agile stand-ups to communicate work progress
Preferred Qualifications
- Interest in Energy Markets
- Basic understanding of relational databases
- A strong desire to learn, grow and explore new things
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Economics or equivalent field

Pay Range: $19.00 - 22.00 per hour
In accordance with Colorado law, the range provided is Yes Energy’s reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role.
Intern Recruitment Process
