Job Summary: The Data Manager works as part of a team supporting the underpinnings of all departments across the organization. This role is responsible for the organization’s use of data and technology to meet our mission. A data-focused approach supports program efficiencies, outcome assessments, and informed decisions across all departments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

● Primary manager of our Salesforce CRM. Ensure the integrity of all data, systems and integrations working in conjunction with an expert Salesforce consultant.

● Coordinate and configure our various data tools and systems, ensuring their smooth operation.

● Implement sustainable system practices, to ensure our data tools and platforms serve us effectively.

● Work collaboratively with staff to understand our unique data needs through one-on-one and team guidance and support.

● Lead the development and execution of a data roadmap, which aligns with our mission and strategy.

● Documents procedures, data standards/flows and requests for new or revised technology/data functions and integrations.

● Develops and maintains standard reports, dashboards and data visualizations.

● Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

● Advanced technical skills in Excel, Google Workspaces, and technology

● Detailed-oriented, thorough, organized and conscientious, with a process-improvement mindset.

● Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

● Team oriented. Collaborative. Flexible. Strong contributor in team environments as well as productive working independently

● Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about the role of technology in our work.

● Desire to learn new technologies and systems and adapt

● Understanding and experience with the nonprofit sector

Education and Experience:

● BA Preferred

● CRM, Salesforce and NPSP (Nonprofit Starter Pack) preferred

● Non profit experience a plus

Position: Full time, Salary range: $45,000 to $50,000, exempt

Supervisor: Operations Director

Working Conditions and/or Physical Requirements:

● Physical requirements associated with office working environment

● Ability to operate standard office equipment

● Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
