Job Summary
Full time bilingual customer service associate for a long time family owned & operated growing business established in 1972. We are one of the top business of our type in Southern Nevada. We're currently experiencing an explosive amount of business growth and need help. We employ a mix of male and female workers with a low employee turn over rate. We offer a 40 hour work week with weekends off and a relaxed friendly workplace atmosphere. We service and sell outdoor power equipment, parts, oils and accessories. We're currently operating in a temporary location while looking for a new building to purchase and grow in. We want to hire a sharp, friendly and honest employee that will grow with our team and business. The applicant will help our customers purchase outdoor power equipment, parts and accessories or take equipment in for repairs. We do not believe in high pressure sales. We do believe in providing our customers honest and friendly personalized customer service. Most of our customers already know what they want but you will be required to learn product knowledge for the equipment we sell. The applicant will be required to write up customer repair orders, gather necessary information and sometimes help load or unload the equipment being picked up or dropped off. The applicant will look up replacement parts for all types of outdoor power equipment on a windows based computer using the customers model/serial information and our parts diagrams. Your mechanical engine knowledge and computer point of sale skills are an important consideration here. You will look up parts like carburetors, Ignition coils, spark plugs, piston rings, throttle cables, air filters and more. Our business is similar to an auto parts store except we sell power equipment too. This job also includes communicating with customers in person, by phone or email the status of their repairs, estimates and orders. Lastly it includes cashier duties for the customers you serve. We serve customers like city municipalities, hotels, golf courses, NDOT, CCSD, NAFB, the Las Vegas Valley Water District, Summerlin Association, construction contractors, gardeners, landscapers, arborist, homeowners and many more.

- Combustion engine mechanical knowledge or auto parts experience is an important consideration when applying for this job. The applicant must be able to look up parts based off the customers descriptions. In house training to navigate our parts diagrams will be provided, but again you have to be familiar with parts of a combustion engine.
- Must have good computer typing skills and/or point of sales software experience.
- Must be able to stand behind a sales counter for lengths of time and occasionally lift equipment weighing up to 40lbs.
- Must have good people skills, sales or customer service experience is a plus.
- Should be able to work Monday-Friday 7-4
- No experience needed for this job, but experience is required to start at the posted rate of $15.00 per hour or higher.
