TASKS:
- Maintenance, quality assurance and provision of data (production data, product data, measurement data)
- Strategic alignments with data warehouse experts on available content and possible extensions
- Inputs to R&D data availability roadmap
- Definition of data validation (monitoring) and transformation rules
- Ensuring accelerated data processing and high data quality
- Ensuring availability of traceability information across different production locations
- Develop new analysis tools and optimize already present tools to further increase effectiveness and efficiency
- Extract essential information from a large dataset to put insights into a larger (tactical/strategical) context
- University Degree (e.g. Automation and Computer Science Engineering, Informatics, Mathematics or comparable education)
- Statistics know-how is needed
- Ability to generate comprehensive analysis of the operational numbers with Business Intelligence Tools (e.g. Tableau or Power BI), familiar with data visualization
- Passion about new technologies
- Very good communication skills and fluent in English
Would be an advantage:
- Programming experience in one or more common programming languages (Python, Scala, R, Java, C#, ...)
- Background with Machine Learning / Optimization algorithms
- Background with Extract-Transform-Load processes, ideally based on Amazon Web Services
- Experience with Big Data solutions & Data Warehousing
