Position SummaryThe mission of the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Supply Chain & Logistics, Procurement & Logistics Office (P&LO) is to provide a data driven, resource optimized, cost effective, and clinically focused supply chain that ensures the delivery of the highest quality of care at the greatest value to the Veteran and the Veteran's family. The P&LO provides support to all healthcare facilities within the VHA.
RB Consulting, Inc. (RBCI) requires a highly capable Senior Data Management Specialist to provide supply chain staffing support across the department that operates in concert with the desired end state of supply chain operations and transformation actions.
The ideal candidate will be working virtually from their home office with the ability for occasional travel (10-20%).

Duties & Responsibilities- Provide support to the SCDIO (Supply Chain Data and Informatics Office) and its subordinate branches; the AMS (Analytics and Metrics) and DSO (Data Standardization Office) teams
- Ability to pull in multiple data sources (Internal VA: SCCOP, SCRT, PVCaRT External: GSA, DMLSS etc.) into one dashboard to monitor SC Indicators
- Develop internal dashboard using Power BI to track SC Indicators and identify opportunities for OPR to engage facilities for SC improvements
- Leverage supply chain expertise to recommend SCIs for health of supply chain to client
- Experience recommending and tracking KPIs for office performance
- Enable user-awareness and visibility of supply chain data
- Performs tasks which ensure strategic and coordinated data systems management, accuracy and integrity of data, and reporting of data to OPR
- Partners with Senior Programmers to perform analysis of programs and production utilizing a System Development Methodology
- Ensure timely and accurate reports
- Assist in establishing, maintaining, and updating databases and records for recurring internal OPR reports
- Recommend and implement new operating methods to improve data flow, collection, editing, processing, and distribution
- Assist in the development and maintenance of data and process models
- Ensure the data integrity of high-level data analysis
- Responsible for managing multiple project sprints that may run concurrently
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
- BA/BS degree required
- 8 years' experience required
- Must have intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Knowledge of Power BI user-level knowledge is required
- Knowledge of MicroStrategy is preferred
- Knowledge of ECMS (Electronic Contract Management System) is preferred
- Proficient in Office 365 suite of programs to include SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Collaborative team player with strong analytical and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and self-driven.
- Knowledge of and experience with VA Information Systems is desired.
- Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain a National Agency Check Inquires (NACI)
