Data Entry Specialist Job Description
The Sea Pines Resort is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will possess a high level of attention to detail, a strong understanding of the food and beverage industry, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
· Ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering new items, managing existing item data, and ensuring data integrity within the system
· Accurately enter new items, including product details, pricing, and relevant information
· Update and maintain existing item data to ensure accuracy and completeness
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for Data Entry and resolve any discrepancies
· Perform regular audits of item data to identify and correct errors, ensuring data integrity
· Generate and analyze reports to track and report on key Data Entry metrics
· Work closely with the purchasing and inventory teams to ensure alignment between physical inventory and system data
· Provide support for data-related inquiries and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
· Possess a high level of attention to detail, a strong understanding of the food and beverage industry, and the ability to work efficiently in a proven experience in Data Entry or similar role, with a focus on the food and beverage industry
· High level of accuracy and attention to detail in Data Entry tasks
· Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
· Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
· Must be able to work independently as well as in a group setting
· High school diploma or equivalent
· One year of related experience and/or training preferred

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
