Data Entry Specialist Job Description

The Sea Pines Resort is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will possess a high level of attention to detail, a strong understanding of the food and beverage industry, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering new items, managing existing item data, and ensuring data integrity within the system
• Accurately enter new items, including product details, pricing, and relevant information
• Update and maintain existing item data to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for Data Entry and resolve any discrepancies
• Perform regular audits of item data to identify and correct errors, ensuring data integrity
• Generate and analyze reports to track and report on key Data Entry metrics
• Work closely with the purchasing and inventory teams to ensure alignment between physical inventory and system data
• Provide support for data-related inquiries and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Possess a high level of attention to detail, a strong understanding of the food and beverage industry, and the ability to work efficiently in a proven experience in Data Entry or similar role, with a focus on the food and beverage industry
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in Data Entry tasks
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work independently as well as in a group setting
• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year of related experience and/or training preferred
