We’re seeking candidates who have a high-level of Data Entry accuracy, demonstrate initiative and strong critical thinking skills, are strong communicators, and excel in relationship building. Candidates must have the following:

• Experience managing Data Entry projects and a demonstrated ability to adhere to deadlines, particularly in regards to analyzing data
• Strong interest in working with a limited English proficient population
• Ability to work both independently and as a team member, cooperating with and demonstrating cultural sensitivity to staff and constituents
• Strong knowledge of multiple Google platforms and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Chinese Mutual Aid Association: Data Entry Specialist

Chinese Mutual Aid Association (CMAA) is seeking a Data Entry Specialist to provide administrative support to CMAA’s Adult Education team. The ideal candidate will display a deep commitment to offering high-quality services to the immigrant community. She, he or they will be committed to getting results, and able to work independently and collaboratively. Evening and weekend hours may be required for this position, depending on schedule. This position is an excellent opportunity to learn about and engage various ethnic and low-income communities, and to contribute to a forward-thinking team dedicated to building a sustainable Adult Education and Workforce Department.

About Us

Chinese Mutual Aid Association (CMAA) is a community-based organization, dedicated to fostering the integration of the Pan-Asian immigrant and refugee community into U.S. culture. Established in 1981, CMAA has been a cornerstone of the Uptown community since then, providing programming for generations of youth, adults, and senior citizens. The Adult Education and Workforce Department provides English as a Second Language, Adult Basic Education, Contextualized Healthcare and Office/Administrative Technology Literacy Bridges, and Digital Literacy classes, and assists clients with transitioning into the workforce and further education, through workshops and individualized counseling.

Job Responsibilities

• Enter CMAA internal and Consortium partner data, including student profile information, attendance, testing, and civics competencies, into funder’s database
• Communicate with partner agencies regarding data queries
• Assists the Sr. Compliance Coordinator and Supervisor of Adult Literacy with verifying data and generating performance reports for consortium partners
• Trains new staff on database Data Entry, when needed
• Other duties as assigned
