```Job Overview```
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Entry Specialist to join our team. an Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting our operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of our systems. This position requires the ability to maintain database integrity related to information and ensure accuracy within the database. The ideal candidate will love Jesus, have a heart for those struggling with homelessness, a strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively within a team.
```Responsibilities```
Ø Maintain CRM (Clearview)
Ø Enter donor and donation information from donation slips and checks
§ Credit card, online, EFT, and other donation sites such as PayPal, Stripe, etc.
Ø Print receipts/letters; insert, complete postage and mail out
Ø Maintain accurate donor records
§ Respond to donor requests, via phone or email as appropriate
§ Input new donor information
§ Update codes as appropriate
Ø Provide a high level of responsiveness and customer service in all donor interactions
Ø Maintain up to date donor history and profile information within CRM
Ø Proactively communicate the needs, plans, and progress of MorningStar Mission with donors.
Ø Acknowledge all gifts in an appropriate and timely fashion, consistent with MorningStar standards and relevant stewardship plan.
Ø Maintain a consistent schedule of donor thank you letters, calls, and email.
Ø Print Year-end tax statement: insert, complete postage and mail out
Ø Work with Development Department staff to complete queries, reports, projects, perform Data Entry and additional tasks as requested
Ø Pray for MorningStar donors
Ø Enter donor deposits and sales receipts from Thrift Stores in the accounting software, QuickBooks
Ø Verify totals are equal to deposit amounts.
```Skills```
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
§ Christian with a compassion for the homeless and addicted
§ Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required; knowledge of Clearview CRM a plus
§ Skilled and accurate with a 10-key and in Data Entry operations
§ Able to read, write, and perform mathematical computations
§ Able to consistently deliver outstanding customer service via phone interactions; strong communication skills
§ Knowledge of statistical reporting helpful
§ High degree of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
§ Computer literate, able to type 55+ wpm with a high degree of accuracy
§ Reliable and trustworthy – able to maintain confidentiality, high productivity and meet deadlines
§ Strong visual acuity
§ Must be able to successfully pass a background check
