Data Entry Specialist 1 (Fire Rescue)

High school diploma or GED. One year of typing or Data Entry experience is required.

This position will be tasked with Data Entry and clerical work. This position will be responsible for reviewing and processing several aspects of work orders that ultimately get entered into the computer database. Data is received from Shop personnel and reviewed for accuracy by calculating costs, the number of parts, or the number of hours needed to complete the specifications in the work orders. This position entails researching, verifying, and correcting information to be entered into a database; creating simple forms, running and printing reports, processing documents, sorting, filing and using phone or email correspondence as necessary.
