SalaryLexisNexis Reed Tech, has a Data Entry Clerk opening in our Alexandria, VA office. The Data Entry Clerk is adept at reviewing and processing a variety of documents relating to timely Fee and Drawing submissions.
Accountabilities
Reviews Patent applications for the timely payment of Issue and Publication fees; performs a Fee Association transaction acknowledging the fee payment.- Processes Address and Entity Status Changes notated on the IFEE.
- Reviews Drawings/Drawings requirements and classifies Drawings in the RTFM system.
- Reviews Patent Application documents via PTO database.
- Processes a variety of transactions in the PALM and PreExam systems.
- May multitask between several departments as needed.
- Maintains Quantity/Quality metrics.
- May train other production employees on assigned projects.
- May assist in the writing and maintaining of manuals and/or work instructions.
- May recommend changes in program and routines to improve efficiency within the team environment.
- Performs job according to current ISO procedures.
- Participates in periodic team meetings, activities and projects.
- Interacts with others in a professional manner.
- Performs other job related duties as required.
Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent.- Good verbal, written and organizational skills.
- Ability to acquire and retain vast amounts of information.
- Strong attention to and concern for detail.
- Concentration; ability to perform routine repetitive tasks reliably and accurately.
- Problem solving ability.
- Ability to follow written standardized procedures.
- Ability to work with others in team and office setting.
- Ability to meet scheduled deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of computer applications.
- Must be US citizen and able to qualify for PTO Suitability Clearance.
