Job description

Affordable Locksmiths is looking for a Data Entry/ Administrative Assistant to input data into a CRM system, organize payments, and answer a phone line. In this position, you will be responsible for working closely with the owner and manager. Your role will be to assist in ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, inputting data, answering phone calls, collecting payments from government agencies, communicating with homeowners, creating internal systems, and ensuring communication. A successful applicant should have experience with various office software (email, Docu-sign, spreadsheets, and databases) and be able to accurately handle administrative duties. Responsibilities

  • Serve as the point person for office computer data information including inputting client information, measurements, and scope of work into computer programs
  • Collecting payments from vendors for each specific job
  • Ability to answer cold phone calls and collect information from the client
  • Be the Point of Contact for the homeowner to ask questions and concerns
  • Organize the office/warehouse layout, order supplies, and create spreadsheets to increase efficiency in the company
  • Maintain the office condition and arrange necessary repairs
  • Partner with HR to update and maintain office policies and procedures
  • Create and coordinate better systems for our office equipment
  • Ability to wear multiple hats for different administrative positions

Skills

  • Must be able to take control and problem-solve effectively.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems, and procedures
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, DOC-U-SIGN, and Google Drive, in particular)
  • Hands-on experience with office machines (e.g. PCs. Iphones, and printers)
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant will be a plus
