What to Expect What You’ll DoWhat You’ll Bring
The Dojo team is looking for a hands-on, self-directed engineering technician to monitor, operate, and maintain the facility systems serving the Tesla Dojo supercomputers.
- Maintain and operate MEP systems at the Dojo facilities. The systems and equipment can include pumps, piping, chillers, cooling towers, CRAH units, UPS, unit substations, etc.
- Available for occasional on-site emergency calls nights and weekends
- Follow preventative maintenance plans. Drive the execution of both preventative and emergency maintenance for facility equipment
- Identify and maintain spare parts inventory to minimize downtime
- Coordinate and supervise scheduled system shutdowns and develop and implement energy monitoring metrics
- Support construction and commissioning efforts by witnessing equipment startup, escorting vendors, and monitoring construction progress
- Hands-on operations or facilities work experience. Data center experience is preferred
- Knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Experience with PLC-based control systems and/or with Building Management Systems (BMS)
- Ability to communicate clearly
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and utilize hand tools/power tools as needed
Compensation and Benefits
Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire:
$24.40 - $65.40/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
