Form of workIntelliSource is on the lookout for a hands-on, self-directed engineering technician to operate and maintain the Data Center facility systems. This position is a full time, on-site role.
What You'll Do:
- Operational expert for mechanical systems. The mechanical systems and equipment can include pumps, piping, chillers, cooling towers, CRAH units, etc.
- Available for occasional on-site emergency calls nights and weekends
- Perform daily inspections of critical systems.
- Develop preventative maintenance plans. Drive the execution of both preventative and emergency maintenance for facility equipment.
- Collaborate with building facilities team to ensure reliability of building facilities systems.
- Identify and maintain spare parts inventory to minimize downtime.
- Coordinate and supervise scheduled system shutdowns.
- Develop and implement energy monitoring metrics.
- Support commissioning efforts by witnessing equipment startup, assisting with functional testing, and monitoring construction progress.

- Enjoy a 3 or 4 day work week with day shift from 6am to 6pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday or Night shift from 6pm to 6am Monday to Thursday.

What You'll Bring:
- 5+ years of hands-on operations or facilities work experience. Data center experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Experience with PLC-based control systems and/or with Building Management Systems (BMS)
- Ability to communicate clearly
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to utilize hand tools and power tools as needed
