The Axial Programme will be powered by S/4HANA a new ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system which will be implemented right across the organisation and will provide our business with standardised processes, enhanced financial management, common data and real time reporting, transforming the way we work through our entire supply chain - from bench to patient.
The new system will be used by more than 20,000 employees daily, is foundational to all AZ entities and is central to most core business processes. This is a once in a generation programme for AstraZeneca and will shape our ways of working globally for many years to come.

Join us as a Data & Analytics MDG Product Lead in our IT department, where you will have full end-to-end responsibility to deliver the IT elements of AstraZeneca's Global SAP MDG platform. This role offers an exciting opportunity to translate business requirements into MDG solutions with a realistic IT delivery plan. You will bring global standard processes in IT solutions, Master Data Governance, processes, capabilities, operating model and technology. Your key accountability will be to continue with processes on legacy systems whilst also delivering progressive development of the future state platform through each S/4 launch.
Accountabilities:
As a Data & Analytics MDG Product Lead, you will coordinate, drive and approve plans for projects/programmes, lead and coordinate project/program budgets, forecasts, tasks, schedules, risks, organizational change, and status. You will manage relationships with senior business customers to ensure the effective capturing of business requirements and dedication to project/program objectives. You will also build a cohesive project/programme team and provide the leadership to improve the team's success.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree
-At least 6 years' experience in SAP MDG - Material Master, Finance Master Data Objects, Customer, Vendor, etc.
- Lead and advice business process improvement on SAP MDG enablement initiatives
- Drive SAP MDG solution design activities - Material Master, Finance Master Data Objects, Customer, Vendor, etc
- Minimum 1 End to End implementation experience in MDG including hands-on design and configuration
- Expertise in Data Model Improvement, Data Transfer (DIF/DEF), Data Replication Framework (DRF), Business Rules Framework plus (BRFplus).
- Experience in Configuration rule-based Workflow.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Masters degree or equivalent experience
- Project / Programme Management certifications
