Barclays Bank Delaware seeks Credit Data Analytics Lead, AVP in Wilmington, Delaware (multiple positions available):
- Manage Python based investment optimization engine for investment decision of the Marketing Optimization and Credit programs
- Provide investment efficient frontier options given various investment objective functions under marketing budget constraints (maximize total profit, maximize economic value, maximize outstanding balance, minimize exposure, etc.)
- Making recommendations for monthly investment decision goal to senior management committee
- Construct monthly campaign proposal (targeting criteria, stress level, objective function, financial assumption) and complete risk team check and challenge process
- Perform complex and advanced financial analysis and valuation - economic value/present value financial models using SAS (macro) programming
- Utilize analytical, data mining, and consumer data insight to be leveraged for Marketing Optimization and Credit program initiatives
- Ideate, test and analyze product, pricing and population to optimize profitability for Marketing Optimization and Credit programs using test/control incremental methodology
- Conduct analysis of segmentation, targeting and optimization processes
- Utilize data query tools SAS, and SQL to test, evaluate and maintain data analysis and Management Information Systems (MIS) reporting for management to make timely and informed decisions
- Work closely with the marketing team, 2nd line of defense team (risk team), model validation/governance team, legal/compliance team to drive profitable marketing decisions and customer insights
- Manage junior analysts in the team for project prioritization and career development
- May telecommute
What we're looking for:
- Employer will accept a Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Statistics, Mathematics, Business, or related field
- 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation
