Trissential is currently seeking a Data Analyst to help build out content around Data Governance to join our dynamic team in Minneapolis, MN (Remote).
- Work closely with the Data Governance lead with a focus around things like: data cataloging, data quality, security and defining data.
Managing master data, including creation, updates, and deletion.
Managing users and user roles.
Provide quality assurance of imported data, working with quality assurance analysts if necessary.
Commissioning and decommissioning of data sets.
Processing confidential data and information according to guidelines.
Helping develop reports and analysis.
Managing and designing the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.
Supporting the data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting requirements.
Supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalization.
Assessing tests and implementing new or upgraded software and assisting with strategic decisions on new systems.
Generating reports from single or multiple systems.
Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports.
Evaluating changes and updates to source production systems.
Training end-users on new reports and dashboards.
Providing technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.
- 7+ years of experience in data including data quality, data catalog, MDM and data governance
- Strong understanding of MDM and experience with tools like Informatica, Data Stage, Talend and Collibra
- Purview and Profisee experience is highly desirable but at a minimum this person needs to know the security and compliance aspects of O365
- This person will need a general knowledge of master data including how to profile domains and writing business and data quality rules.
- Having experience working with hospitals in the past will also be critical.
- Heavily involved in MDM using the tool Profisee.
- MS Purview is another tool that will be heavily utilized.
