OVERVIEW
The ideal candidate will have experience in the utilization of databases, word processing, spreadsheets, and web-based systems used for entering, retrieving, and researching data and records. Knowledge of and ability to create reports using SQL and MS Power BI, and proficiency in the Office365 suite and SharePoint are essential to this job. This position will support the regional administration of behavioral health services in the SBHASO. Our new team member will manage ongoing data related programs, perform data analysis, and coordinate a management information system to maintain program data.
The ideal candidate has the ability to manage a comprehensive behavioral health database, including analyzing and evaluating the quality of data submission, as well as the ability to manage projects in compliance with state program requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR PERFORMANCE OF THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Human Services, Business Administration or related field and
- Three years of experience in managing databases including creating queries and report management
- At least one year of experience in creating and managing performance improvement projects
- Any equivalent combination of experience and education that provides the applicant with the desired knowledge, skills and ability required to perform the work

ILLUSTRATIVE EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
- Manage Power App and SharePoint list systems to support utilization management functions of the organization
- Design, create, evaluate, and improve reports, workflows, and systems used in the organizational processes in conjunction with program staff and leadership.
- Create, design, evaluate and implement data reports related to quality improvement activities, working with community, stakeholders and providers.
- Provide backup to Data System Manager in the import and export of data files, managing edits and corrections, and running reports.
- Prepare and manage data reported on the SBHASO Website.
- Provide technical assistance to contracted providers regarding upload and management of data.

Vacation Leave
New employees are credited with 48 hours of annual leave upon hire and will be begin accruing at the rate of 8 hours per month starting on their 7th month of employment. Employees may carry over 360 hours from one calendar year to the next. Annual leave accrual will increase upon tenure, as follows:
Upon completion of 3 years: 15 days per year (10.00 hours per month)
Upon completion of 5 years: 20 days per year (13.33 hours per month)
Upon completion of 10 years: 25 days per year (16.67 hours per month)
Sick Leave
All new hires will be credited with 48 hours of sick leave upon hire and will begin accruing at the rate of 8 hours per month starting on their 7th month of employment. Employees may carry over 1200 hours from one calendar year to the next.
