Data Analyst

Provides measurement support, validation, data management, and analysis. Works with the senior Analysts and other customers to meet reporting and analytic needs of the organization. 

• Supports the goals of the organization through reporting, analysis, and data visualization
• Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills by working with technical and non-technical customers to translate business needs into report specifications
• Creates data visualization, such as charts and graphs, in Excel and other business intelligence tools (e.g. SAS-VA, Web Intelligence, etc.)
• Builds queries in available BI tools against the EPIC clarity environment
• Completes Value Institute Yellow Belt training within one year of hire and participates in improvement projects both inside and outside the department

Requirements: 

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
• Three years' of experience working as an analyst or one year with relevant advanced degree.
• Proficient in MS Excel and basic knowledge of BI tools. 
• Basic understanding or relational database concepts.
