Our client, a leading global technology firm, is seeking a Data Analyst to advance their maps division's data infrastructure. In this impactful, high-visibility role, you'll develop dashboards, data mining scripts, and enhance metric pipelines. Top Requirements:
- 1+ year of experience in Titan and Power BI reporting.
- 1+ year of hands-on experience with ETL processes.
- 1+ year of proven expertise in Cosmos scripting.
Opportunity Overview:
The ideal candidate for this role is an experienced data enthusiast with a knack for Power BI and Titan reporting, ETL processes, and Cosmos scripting. They should possess strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and a passion for leveraging data to drive business decisions, thriving in dynamic, high-impact environments.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Ensure regular maintenance, monitoring, and enhancement of existing metric reports and pipelines for the Maps team, guaranteeing data accuracy and freshness. Provide individual support to meet business goals and leadership team reviews.
- Actively participate in developing and maintaining new online metrics and Titan-based analytics solutions to foster business growth. Responsibilities include contributing to Cosmos data mining pipelines, ETL workflows, Titan dashboards, and BI reports.
- Execute ad-hoc tasks as assigned by full-time employees such as Product Managers, Scientists, and Software Engineers, including developing Cosmos scripts and conducting analysis tasks.
- Adhere to engineering best practices, work independently on assigned tasks, and maintain proactive communication with stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Proficiency in Titan and Power BI reporting.
- Solid experience in ETL processes.
- Skilled in Cosmos scripting.
- Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
- Passion for data analysis and aiding businesses in data-driven decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of one year of relevant professional experience.
