First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking an analytical, experienced, and team-oriented Cybersecurity Operations Manager to join our Cybersecurity Operations team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the daily management of the SOC including development of documentation such as operating procedures, playbooks, event handlers, notification and escalation procedures, shift management, incident response, threat intelligence, collection and reporting of metrics. This role supervises a diverse team of Security Analysts who provide "eyes on glass" monitoring and response capability. The Cybersecurity Operations Manager is also expected to provide leadership contributions and cybersecurity guidance to business units A substantial part of this role will be to support the Cybersecurity Architecture & Operations Manager on all operational cybersecurity areas.
Compensation
The annual range for this role is $130,000 - $160,000/yr., commensurate with experience.
The successful candidate will be hired for the level of the position that aligns with their experience.
Work Schedule
Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm (hours may vary)
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in an information technology related field or equivalent work experience required.
- Preferred Security and Technical Certifications: CISSP, CCSP, CISCO, Microsoft, AWS, and/or other related Cybersecurity certifications.
- 5+ years of IT architecture and engineering experience in Networking, Server administration, cybersecurity, or desktop support or similar technical role in large scale environments (500+ endpoints)
- 5+ years of experience in information security
- 3+ years of management experience coaching employees, developing roadmap,
- 2+ years managing and responding to audit requests (Big 4 or financial experience preferred)
- 5+ years of experience being on-call and managing teams of on-call personnel
*Required experience may be obtained concurrently.
- Able to plan, organize and budget
- Excellent written and verbal communication with demonstrable experience collaborating with technically oriented as well as business audiences
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
- Able to handle confidential matters judiciously
- Possesses attention to detail with excellent follow-through
- Able to work under pressure with multiple deadlines
- Excellent time management skills
