Job Summary of the of the Entry Writer position
Integr8staff seeks an Entry Level Entry Writer for our client a transportation arrangement and international customs broker. This is a rewarding opportunity offering great pay and room for advancement and leadership.
Responsibilities of the Entry Writer position
An Entry Writer is responsible for the preparation and submission of US custom documentation on behalf of importers
The Entry Writer will work closely with customers and keeping customers up to date and advising them of any customs-related issues that impact their goods
The Entry Writer will arrange deliveries of the goods in a timely basis
Write entries for air and ocean import shipments
Review Customs Notes to ensure proper release is obtained and summaries are filed
Begin file from pre-alert with origin
File ISFs as necessary, and follow-up for bill matches
Ensure timely Customs release, arrange delivery and billing
Requirements of the Entry Writer position
2-3 years of relevant work experience 
Proficient at classifying commodities
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Windows, Google Drive, 
Knowledge of incoterms (terms of delivery) of the business.
Ability to work overtime during peak times when problems arise and/or customer requirements modify
Provide exceptional customer service
