Financial Controller

Emerald Water is a New York City based company specializing in water purification systems. With an extensive portfolio of products, including a variety of water options, we make clean, healthy, great tasting drinking water available to everyone in the tri-state area, and throughout the country.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Bookkeeping via Quickbooks Online
• Bank Statement Reconciliation
• Daily review and recording of all transactions
• Accounts Receivable: process invoices, send invoices, collect payments, monitor A/R aging report
• Accounts Payable: manage vendor invoices, inventory tracking, purchase orders
• Respond to customer account and billing inquiries and requests
• ADP - Payroll & Tax Filings
• Work closely with CPA
• Other various activities and tasks as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• QuickBooks Online expertise
• 7+ years experience as Controller and/or Finance & Accounting Manager
• Very strong comprehension of Balance Sheet/P&L/financial reports
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills/Excellent Excel abilities
• Highly organized
• Consistent attention to detail, ability to establish priorities, and meet deadlines
• Trustworthy and reliable

PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES

• Experience in a customer support role
• Work well with management team and associates
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
