POSITION SUMMARY
Develop and maintain business relationships with customers and/or clients by serving as subject matter expert, an internal advocate and a client liaison. Provide sales and marketing support to maintain customer satisfaction and improve and sustain business growth.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interact with customers by phone, electronic mail or in person to provide basic or advanced information in response to inquiries about orders, accounts or details of complaints.
- Maintain records of customer interactions or transactions, recording details or inquiries, complaints or comments and actions taken.
- Process Requests for Quote (RFQ) and track progress.
- Perform contract review, acknowledge customer purchase orders and facilitate information to applicable departments.
- Perform data-entry of purchase orders in applicable systems.
- Keep customer updated on status of delivery, potential delivery deadline misses and/or movement.
- Provide customer feedback to appropriate internal parties, including production, engineering, supply chain, etc.
- Assist in troubleshooting customer inquiries and/or complaints.
- Maintain regular communication with customers.
- Perform general office duties, such as filing, answering telephone calls and handling routine correspondence.
- Demonstrates ability to appear for work on time, follow directions from a supervisor, interact well with co-workers, understand and follow work rules and procedures, comply with company policies and procedures, goals and objectives, and accepts constructive feedback.

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or General Education Development (GED).
- Minimum 3 years general customer service/administrative support experience in manufacturing environment preferred or equivalent of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to operate computers programmed with software and or Microsoft office.
- Read and comprehend verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to maintain and engage in active listening.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to maintain organized files and workspace.

Pay Rate: The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type, and length of experience with the industry, education, geographic location, etc.
