Job Description
This is a full-time position with shifts scheduled Tuesday-Friday 11am-7pm CT and Saturday 9am-5pm CT. The starting rate for this position is $18.00 per hour and offers medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) match as well as holiday and paid time off.
Job Summary
The Customer Support Representative will ensure customers receive the highest level of customer service. The Customer Support Representative will project a professional company image through phone, chat, and email interaction with veterinarians and their staff, animal owners, feed distributors, laboratory administrators and their staff, and state veterinarians.
Key Responsibilities
- Process incoming customer and technical support inquiries
- Provide support and troubleshooting assistance to customers, partners, and government officials
- Update customer billing and account information
- Maintain a record of Customer Support inquiries
- Update help files
- Conduct in-person and online training sessions
- Participate in customer feedback process with product development team
- Lead and participate in application and software testing
- Log bugs and feature requests while maintaining internal communication with the tech team
Qualifications
- B.S./B.A. degree in Animal Science or relevant field preferred
- 1-2 years’ experience with customer interaction in a support role
- Professional attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Strong presentation skills to professional and technical audiences
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to create and foster relationships with customers
- High attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot
- Positive attitude and passion for resolving customer issues
