This entry-level Customer Service position is responsible for providing customer support activities for eCommerce customers through phone, e-mail, and chat regarding pre-sales, check out, billing, account management, returns, product inquiries, website technical guidance. Our Customer Service Specialist is passionate about serving as the customer's advocate not only in resolving issues but also in ensuring that the customer receives exemplary Customer Service.
As a Murdoch's Team Member in this role, you will...
- Address customer complaints by researching, responding, and following up with customers in a timely manner.
- Assist customers with any issues in regard to their returns or their orders via emails or by phone.
- Greet customers via telephone to assist customers with website registration, order processing, product information, pricing, shipping information, and general eCommerce information.
- Liaise with our store locations for any issues raised by customers with regard to either orders or returns.
- Review, accept, and process manual orders received by phone.
- Work with courier companies over issues raised by customers with regard to either orders or returns.
- Work with the entire eStore team to accomplish store goals and make customers happy.
- Work an 8:00 am - 5:00 pm schedule with some weekend work required.
As a Murdochian in this role, you must...
- Possess excellent Customer Service skills.
- Be familiar with standard concepts and best practices within the eCommerce retail environment.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite along with IT troubleshooting skills.
- Previous experience with Customer Service via phone, chat, and e-mail is a plus.
