Position Summary
This position reports to the Customer Service Lead and GM, this role will be responsible to maintain customer order creation, ensuring timely communication with customers.
Essential Responsibilities
- Ensure incoming phone calls are handled from customers to mitigate issues and resolve problems.
- Provides regular interface with customer to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Ensure timely and accurate data entry of all services performed.
- Maintain and develop strong working relationship with dispatch staff.
- Works closely with dispatch department to ensure the accurate execution of orders and account activity
- Receive, input, and distribute proof of deliveries (PODs) to customers
- Record and maintain files and records of customer requests, work or services performed, charges, expenses, inventory, and other dispatch information.
- Communicate with customers, dispatchers, brokers and terminal clerks, via email and phone regarding schedule and or any issues with shipment
- Data entry of delivery/dray orders and scheduling pick up and deliveries utilizing Profit Tools system and excel files on a timely basis
Minimum Experience and Qualifications
- Other duties as assigned
- One (1) year experience in Customer Service
- One (1) year of experience of transportation
- Bi-Lingual a plus
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong team building and interpersonal skills
